Summary
The Intern is part of the Investment Management and Research Team (IMR Team) and reports to the Director, Investment Operations and Trading. This role is responsible for completing and assisting with many entry-level tasks consistent with the role of a Junior Portfolio Analyst at Vicus Capital. Candidates should have a desire to work in a fast-paced, investment management and research department.
Key Responsibilities
- Data entry for investment management projects and research files
- Work on special projects as needed
- Due Diligence Questionnaire outreach, organization, follow up, and processing
- Data gathering for capital market assumptions, capital market views, and dynamic views
- Quantitative screening for potential investments
- Other administrative tasks as assigned
Position Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Ability to work within the scope of directions, without direct supervision
- Focus on analytical structure and concepts
